Hello, world!

The name is Hazel and I’m a Walt Disney World cast member! I did the Disney College Program in Spring of 2011 working at Downtown Disney Marketplace then Downtown Disney West Side where I worked at Mickey’s Groove (before it closed down), Candy Cauldron (my favorite place — ever!), D-Street and Disney Quest. I’m accepted again for Spring of 2013 and I’ll be doing Merchandise again. I’m super excited! I’ve been a Disney fan my whole life and my dream was to work for Disney, imagine my joy when I was accepted to the DCP. Most days was seriously a surreal dream come true!

I’m a former Pastry Chef major that studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. I’ve always had a love for food and more importantly sweets! I still do! Today I’m a Communications & Marketing major at The University of Phoenix. I’m also a book and review blogger. Most of my vacations are planned according to restaurants and bakeries I want to try and it drives my husband crazy. He doesn’t mind being dragged from location to location (or even driving me across the Bay Area to try a new place) but he just wishes I’d slow it down a bit… but there’s too much food to consume in such a little time!

So welcome to my blog, as you can tell from the title, I’ll be talking about food most of the time. From time to time I’ll probably include things from my internship or lots of Vinylmation talk :P
